Mi Corazòn: Original Music of Hannah Reimann

Singer-songwriter, HANNAH REIMANN, celebrates the post-COVID opening of live music venues with a first single release for her new EP, Mi Corazòn, and a show at Shapeshifter Labs in Brooklyn featuring new songs in English, Spanish and Brazilian-Portuguese written by her and Universal recording artist, GO, her Latin-American writing partner, plus a wonderful band lineup. Hannah will mix in other originals, collaborations and covers. She is very grateful to The Café Royal Cultural Foundation for this show and for its generous help with the release.

About Hannah Reimann

New York City-based pianist, vocalist, singer/songwriter, multi-genre composer, filmmaker and actress HANNAH REIMANN became a concert pianist while also forming rock bands since she was a pre-teen.

Born to German and Korean parents, Hannah began to sing at age 2 and studied piano since age 5 with a lineage that traces back to Beethoven and Lizst-Leschetizky (German Diez, Arminda Canteros, Kenneth Cooper). BA, Sarah Lawrence College, studied at Mannes College of Music, Voice with Beth Roberts and Seth Riggs, Acting with Austin Pendleton; concert pianist (Lincoln Center, Grand Canyon Music Festival, etc.) original music videos The Bottom of the Sea (1998), I Have a Dream (2008), short films, Destroying Angel (2012) and My Father’s House, a Journey of Love and Memory (2016 – purchase at terranova.org). Her CD, First Songs, introduced her “extraordinary voice” (XM Satellite Radio).

For 8 years she has also performed Both Sides Now, paying homage to the incomparable Joni Mitchell. With her collaborators of 1-8 musicians per show, Hannah has performed over 30 hits and favorites of Mitchell’s rich 1968-1974 catalogue in four states and for an Off-Broadway run with the On Women festival at the Irondale Center, Brooklyn in 2019.
